Is Your Christchurch House Warm in Winter?

If not we can supply Toshiba units very quickly, often same or next day, as we have units stored at our main freight yard, allowing us to provide a faster and more efficient supply and installation service whenever required. Our heat pumps are especially popular with air-cleaning filters that can relieve symptoms of asthma and hayfever. We would love the opportunity to provide a consultation to advise you on the range of heating options available. We work with a variety of heat pump types, including ducted systems, in-concrete-slab setup and hot water heat pump reticulation which can include home water cylinder heating. Information on the more common types of heat pumps is noted below, or feel welcome to contact us today for quality advice and a quote for your needs.

Types of Heat Pumps For Christchurch Homes

Single Split Heat Pump Systems

Single-split systems are the most common heat pumps installed in Christchurch & New Zealand homes. They consist of one indoor unit connected to an inside unit. These systems are specially designed to heat the room they are installed in rather than the home, however, heat will flow through internal access. These systems work very well for most applications.

Multi-Split Heat Pump Systems

Multi-split heat pump systems consist of multiple indoor units and one outdoor unit to serve them. The indoor units would be installed in separate rooms to more effectively heat the whole home, or heat only required areas.

Ducted Heat Pump Systems

Ducted heat pumps transfer heat through the ducts to multiple rooms in your home. You have the choice between a centrally controlled temperature or heat certain areas of the home as needed. These systems tend to be much quieter than other fan forced systems also.
